Shark Bay Jumbo Prawns or Confit Duck Leg for entree. A main meal of succulent Harvey beef eye fillet with cauliflower cream, potato gratin, charred onions, baby carrots and jus. Or perhaps Barramundi served with romesco, silverbeet, leeks, saffron potato and finished with a dessert of Chocolate Torte with creme fraiche and raspberry gel. All paired with our great selection of fine wines and signature cocktails.

Did you know that Valentine’s Day, as a celebration of love, came to life around the 14th century? Although its origins go way back to many centuries earlier. To this day, it is not clear which St Valentine inspired Valentine’s day as there were at least two. There is a belief that Valentine’s Day may have originated in a pagan fertility festival named Lupercalia. Formal valentines messages appeared in the 15th century but it was not until the late 18th century that commercially printed cards came into existence. Today, traditional gifts include chocolates, red roses (a symbol of beauty and love), heart shaped balloons, jewellery, teddy bears and cards – all expressions of love, romance and commitment. Engagements and mass weddings are also popular on this day. Valentine’s Day is celebrated in many ways around the world. For example, in Japan, custom dictates that only women give Valentine’s chocolates to men. Then one month later, it is the man’s turn to gift the woman in his life!
At the Lounge, it’s back to business following our festive season break. We’re open for Breakfast from 8am-10am, Lunch from 12pm to 3pm and Dinner from 5pm til late (kitchen open from 6pm – 8pm Sunday to Thursday, and 6pm – 9pm Friday & Saturday).
We welcome back two of our favourite live music acts, Alex Rhys and Jax. – we change our music acts every week, this was last week so probably bext not to use specific names for the signers themselves.
Enjoy live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night from 6pm to 9pm. You do not have to be an in-house guest to enjoy the fine dining offered at The Lounge and bookings are not required.

THE LOUNGE RESTAURANT is a hidden oasis tucked into the eastern side of the Darling Ranges in the Perth Hills. With a variety of meals catering to a wide range of dietary needs, we have something for every taste bud.
Breakfast is available 7 days a week from 8am to 10am. Crowd favourites are the Fried Chicken and French Toast, The Amaroo Big Breakky and Smashed Avo. You don’t have to be an in-house guest to enjoy this service, we welcome the general public too!
Lunch is available 5 days a week from Wednesday to Sunday, between 12pm and 3pm. The Bao Buns come with deliciously crispy Korean Fried Chicken pieces and a hint of chilli for a spicy kick! If sharing is more your thing, we offer an Amaroo Share Plate for something light. Or try our “Guy Tea” for two. This includes bourbon glazed pork ribs, crispy chicken buns, peri peri chicken wings, dipping sauces, salad, hot chips, onion rings, brownies, chocolate mousse, and two glasses of beer. Sure to be one of the best ‘high teas you’ve ever experienced!
Dinner is available 7 days a week from 5pm until late. The kitchen closes at 8pm from Sunday to Thursday and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Again, you do not have to be an in-house guest to enjoy our dinner service at all! Our set menu comes with a variety of entrées, mains and desserts and with daily specials to choose from, the hardest decision will be deciding what to eat!
Our extensive drinks list offers an array of red, white and sparkling wines, spirits, liqueurs, beer and cider, softdrinks, tea and coffee and of course, let’s not forget the cocktails.
